Piolo Pascual

Philippine celebrity Piolo Pascual is a Filipino of varied background. His paternal grandfather was a German American and his paternal grandmother has mixed Spanish and Austronesian blood. He is a single father to a 9-year-old son named Iñigo. Philippine actor Piolo is a Born-Again Christian, ever since 2003 when he converted. He's a member of a fellowship that helps educate the youth, a member of the Red Cross and has led Knowledge Channel runs to help out public schools. Philippine celebrity Piolo Pascual became closer to his mother Amelia in his teenage years ever since his father died when he was only sixteen years old. When he turned 17 years old, Philippine actor Piolo joined the ranks of teen stars in the now non-operational teen variety show “That’s Entertainment” hosted by master manager German Moreno. He was introduced as PJ Pascual. After high school, he joined UST’s student theatrical group, Teatro Tomasino, and soon found himself in a children’s show on ABS - CBN in the Philippines, "Atbp." He had bit roles here and there, playing a victim in slasher films like Vizconde Massacre II. Nothing was happening to him in show business, so he was decisive to leave with his mom for the United States. He left his studies in University of Sto. Thomas to be with his mom and work in the Emergency Rooms in California. Getting an offer from ABS CBN and the talent center called Star Circle (now known as Star Magic) to join a series called "Sa Sandaling Kailangan Mo Ako" (When You Need Me), Philippine singer Piolo thought he would give it a try, telling his mother he will return to the US after three years. Then he made it to the Star Circle, Batch 3.
