Ibon Foundation: Daily Minimum Wage in Philippines Cannot Support Family


According to the Ibon Foundation, as of March 2024, the daily wage gap in the country is around P762. This is significantly higher than the daily average minimum wage of P440. 

The Ibon Foundation calculated this wage gap by comparing the average daily minimum wage to the average family living wage (FLW) for a family of five in all 17 regions of the country, which is P1,207.
